Are we looking at a big Bruce Willis return for Expendables 4?
Eh, who knows, but it does sound as though Willis and Expendables franchise mastermindSylvester Stallone have buried the hatchet more than a year after a reported dispute over money turned into a public, albeit one-sided, Twitter feud.
"GREEDY AND LAZY …… A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE," is what Stallonetweeted in September 2013 while announcing that Willis, who appeared in the first twoExpendables films, was out and Harrison Ford was in for the third installment after Willis supposedly wanted an astronomical fee to appear in Expendables 3.
(Sly's rep confirmed at the time that Willis was the subject of the missive, but there was never any official word on Willis' salary demands.)
But yesterday, Stallone indicated that all was so much water under the bridge, tweeting, "Made up with BRUCE W. A stand up guy, my mistake...."
So, unless there's another Bruce W. whom Sly had a beef with... There's one less Hollywood feud floatin' around out there.
Meanwhile, Stallone has big plans for Expendables 4, saying in September that they were hoping to add Jackie Chan to the already extensive roster of now middle-aged action heroes enlisted to do the ass-kicking in the franchise.
Chan, however, had another idea. "Sly wants me for Expendables 4," he told Den of Geekin August. "I said, ‘OK.' Because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused. Well, I didn't refuse, but I said, ‘Sly, can't we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes...So if I'm in Expendables 4, I want it to be me and him. Then it might be interesting. Otherwise you just come out for five minutes.
