Break My Soul - Beyoncé

 


 

 

"Break My Soul" is a song by American singer and songwriter Beyoncé. It was released on June 20, 2022, through Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records as the lead single from Beyoncé's seventh studio album Renaissance (2022). The song was written by Beyoncé, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, Jens Christian Isaken and Jay-Z, and produced by the former four. It samples Big Freedia's 2014 bounce song "Explode", written by Big Freedia and Adam Pigott, and Robin S.'s house song "Show Me Love", written by Allen George and Fred McFarlane.

"Break My Soul" has been described as a dance-pop and house track. The song was met with critical acclaim upon release, with praise towards its production and lyrics. "Break My Soul" topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Dance/Electronic Songs charts. Outside of the United States, "Break My Soul" topped the charts in Croatia, Ireland and Israel, and peaked within the top ten of the charts in several other countries, including Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

I Like It - Cardi B Ft Bad Bunny, J Balvin







I Like It" is a song recorded by American rapper Cardi B with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and Colombian singer J Balvin for her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy (2018). It was released on May 25, 2018 to radio stations through Atlantic Records as the fourth single from the album. "I Like It" is a Latin trap song that comprises a trap-salsa beat. It was written by the three performers along with Jordan Thorpe and Klenord Raphael, while the production was handled by J. White, TainyCraig Kallman and Invincible. The song contains a sample from "I Like It Like That", with Tony Pabón, Manny Rodriguez, and Benny Bonnilla being credited as co-writers

"Youth" is a song by South African-Australian singer and songwriter Troye Sivan from his debut studio album Blue Neighbourhood (2015). It was written by Sivan, Bram Inscore, Brett McLaughlin (Leland), Alex Hope and Allie X, and produced by Bram Inscore, SLUMS and Alex JL Hiew.[1] The song premiered on 12 November 2015 on Shazam Top 20 at 7PM AEST and was officially released on 13 November 2015 as the album's second single.
"Youth" won Sivan's first ever Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Awards in 2016 for Best Video and Song of the Year.[3] Billboard ranked "Youth" at number 11 on their "100 Best Pop Songs of 2016" list.
